Would i get better cooling if i replaced my 230mm fans with multiple 120mm fans?

say either

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835103091

or

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-092-_-Product

and if so, how many of these fans could i fit into the space where the big fans are.

If you're looking for LED fans, R4 is the way to go. Overall the Gentle typhoon is better.

would it provide me better cooling than the single 230? and if so how many could i put where the 230 was? could i put 4? that would make it 240x240 which i think wouldnt be a problem 10 mm more

What is the best 120mm fan? also what is the best 140mm fan? I want to have the best airflow I can get in my system. LED doesn't really matter.

Depends on your case. My 200mm side fan is much quieter than the 120mm fans, and moves more air, but has negligible pressure. You do, on the other hand, get a wider selection of fans with 120mm. Post what your case is and people can give better recommendations (or, better yet, add your system info in your User CP).

Most people here will recommend the Gentle Typhoons, especially for heatsink or radiator cooling. Since you're looking to replace a case fan, the SickleFlows will do fine, imo.

Big fans = move lots of air with low rpm and low noise.

I personally wouldnt use case fans, as they do not provide enough static pressure for the heatsink. What you wanna do is try to find some of Cooler master's heatsink fans or some other kind of heatsink fan, coz they have more static pressure.

Pressure really isn't necessary for case fans. They should literally just be there to move air. If my case fans were too high of pressure it'd be useless, seeing how they'd just stop when they hit my graphics card. Pressure is good for when you really need to get air through heatsink fins, a place with high resistance.
