While the minimum specs are pretty low (all things considered), I'd wait and see how it goes. In theory I should decimate that game with my 580, but I find it stuttering here and there with all the eye candy maxed out.

Good points guys, thanks for the posts smile.gif
Here is another thing though..;
I want to build a new SandyBridge Computer this year,
But I'm not sure if I should add another 2GB of RAM to my current computer.
Would there be any point in this?

the highly recommended specs that i've seen list a 560 as the minimal card, shooting for 30 fps at 1080p res.

When I have upgraded to Win7 Ultimate 64bit from Win XP I had only 2GB of RAM and in Crysis Warhead I have been experiencing stuttering and a lot of HDD activity going on..

I had another 1GB of RAM alying around so I installed it to my rig and stutter was gone..

A few days later I have bought this HyperX 2x2GB kit and never looked back..

So yeah 2GB of RAM just will not cut it in Crysis2 and Win 7 64bit..

CHEERS..

So far according to the Beta..

A GTX 460, 30% slower than your card, can run Crysis 2 @ Med (allegedly) at 1920x1080 with 8xQAA with 25fps MIN.

Oh, and yeah, you DEFINITELY need 4GB to run Crysis. I get 3.5GB load on my RAM when Crysis is running.

In fact, I'd say you should get 8GB. It's super cheap.

Anyone telling you that 2GB is fine doesn't know that their computer is slowing itself down dramatically to compensate for Crysis taking 1.5GB.

Seriously, you can turn it on and look - games today take 1.5GB on average. So what about the OS and the rest of your programs.. 500MB? Think again.
