AMD 1100T Heatsink

Thread Starter
Does anyone have a recommendation for an acceptable heatsink fan combo for the AMD 1100T that is under $30? I had read that the stock cooler wasn't that great.

Thermaltake Frio. Was tested on a phenom x6 by Custom PC mag, and the only thing that beat it was a corsair H70.

The Frio isn't even close to $30... I suggest Scythe Mugen 2 if your case allows it or the CM Hyper 212+/Corsair A50 or A70.

Thanks everyone, I think I'll go with the CM. There is a local store that carries it at the same price as NewEgg. I appreciate the input.

Well ok, I ended up getting a free Corsair A50. I hope it has good enough performance for overclocking later.
