Is one with a Windows key. $18 including shipping at DealExtreme.
How are those cheapo ones against the Apple one in terms of feel? I always thought those Apple ones felt quite decent to type on.

I need to go to an Apple store and refresh my memory but these seem a tad lighter and mushier. I've noticed with rubber domes there's a pretty strong correlation with activation force and tactility.

Plus the perfectly flat keys are probably it's biggest downside.

This Google TV keyboard is really worth searching out at a Best Buy/Costco just to see how good a scissor can feel. "InCurve" keys are comfy.

Yep its the completely flat keys that kill the Apple Keyboard for me. Scissor switches are still pretty nice to type on surprisingly.

I'd be more concerned about the soldering than the warranty.

You'd be pretty much worried about nothing then.

the board has already been out, reviewed, and the OEM version has been reviewed.

it's the same OEM as Razer's blackwidow, minus 90% of the extra garbageware problems the Razer has (Which is extremely minimal on the blackwidow)

people should really stop trashing on stuff they have no idea about.

Isn't that that keyboard that I keep reading those "Help! My keys don't work any more" threads about?

Poking around at the keyboard for a few days doesn't really prove much about long term durability. I'd be concerned given issues with the Blackwidow and Scorpius.

Fine. Then, as someone who absolutely knows what they are talking about, I can tell you that Xarmor's build quality is questionable. I owned a U9BL. I loved it, but it wasn't built all that great. Also, Razer has a distinct advantage over XArmor, they have guaranteed customer support and a working warranty.

The XArmors and Black Widows problems were failing switches, poorly made key caps, and soldering issues. The only thing that has changed are the switches, which are more reliable than MX Blues.

The Ducky 9008 is an extremely solid board that far surpasses the Black Widow and XArmor in build quality and reliability.
