Does anyone have any experience with the Klipsch Pro Media 2.1 System? i was thinking of getting them the other day. I need something better(nicer really) than this Infinity 2.0 setup that is like 7 years old.

The Klipsch is definitely better than your Infinity setup and all the Logitech 2.1s currently available now.

Sorry but I have to point out that this is more blatant misinformation. A DAC is excellent for gaming. Unless you like all sorts of filters and brand names screwing with your signal path, there is no reason to use a sound card.

BTW, ditch the Promedias. These are so, so, so, so much better for the price (cheaper, actually.) You will scratch your head wondering what the hell you were thinking if you buy any more "computer speakers".

EDIT2: I wouldn't be so quick to say that The ProMedia are better than the Infinity. You can bet the house that any "multimedia computer speakers" will sound like total arse, and the same is mostly true for infinity, but they're probably close to the same level of performance.

You're right, I didn't mean to say it's bad. I just meant to say you won't be getting any of the EAX and other filters sound cards will give you. Many people find these filters useless, but some people swear on their mothers graves that it makes a difference.

Good clearing that up though.

Also, I would choose the Swan M10s over the Promedias as well. I think they're also cheaper o_O.

those M10's are extremely nice and CHEAP! Ive been reading comments about them and after a little bit of burn in time they seem to sound amazing according to everyone. Nice crisp, clean sound, with the right amount of bass.
