[CNet] T-Mobile earnings fall as customers depart - Page 4

T-Mobile will find a way to survive, since they got one of the best price. IMO.

And there data plans are awesome! xD

Been with T-Mobile since the Aerial days and I have very few complaints.

T Mo can suck it. Their phones are crap. their service is crap. The last straw for me was when I was on my 9th phone 7 months into my contract taking a video of an event at my son's kindergarten class and the phone locked up and rebooted. After a 4 hour bout with customer service to let me upgrade my phone to a better one since I had already gone through more than plenty fair shares of problems and being told there's nothing they nor I could do, I walked into Best Buy, ported my numbers and got a Droid. Now I have a $700 ETF hanging over my head just to add insult to injury.

I hope they go under. My brother was in the military and right before he went back to Iraq for a second tour he lost his phone. I called them up after he found out since he was gone already and they told me they deactivated it and would send a new sim card in case we wanted to put it in a different phone. I got the sim card and thought all was well. The regular bill was paid as usual.

Months later, collectors started calling for charges accumulated by whoever stole the phone before because they never deactivated the old sim. Then, they tried to spin a bunch of BS about how we were supposed to activate the new SIM because they don't deactivate lost/stolen SIMs until the new one is activated (yea, right). I dealt with their collections department for a couple of weeks until I finally just wrote a letter to their legal department attaching all the notes from my initial call when I reported the phone stolen, and all subsequent collections calls. Needless to say, they cleared the bill and removed all collections notes on my brother's credit report.

Still, though, I'd never use T-Mobile after dealing with 15+ people that constantly lied about everything they said.

Sadly I had to jump ship 2 days ago I've been with them for 6+ years. My office is in the basement of the building I work in so I get no service down there. Verizon and Sprint get signal down there but not T-Mobile. I really hate to leave because I love T-mobile but I have no choice because what's the point of having a phone if I can't use it. I switched to Sprint, my EVO arrives in the mail on Monday.

I highly doubt a 1% loss in the US is going to bring down a giant like T-Mobile.

It's German, it's cheap and CS is decent.

I like t-mo so far. Was a cingular/att customer for something like 6 years. Got fed up with never having 3g in any city I lived in. Now I have an HD2 which is basically the greatest phone ever made. I'm happy. =)

ATT can suck it. They used to send me 10K+ bills and everytime I'd call in to have it fixed, they would do it again the next month. I still have one around here somewhere, I'll scan it and post it.

T-Mobile's been pretty good so far. Their customer support is alright.. the reps are not too bright, however. My only real complaint is that I can only get an EDGE connection at work which is quite annoying. Also, where the hell is the Optimus 2X?!
