Do you ever feel sorry for the newbs? - Page 7

Its always cool to see someone post a thread just to brag how good they are, but to not seem vain they couch it in terms of something else, like, "I felt bad for the poor noob"

I usually just give them tips and stuff, more fun to have a challenge. Provided they are nice though.

I just hate people calling other players noobs in general, its such a tired ass phrase. Yes I am relatively new to the game, this is factual, congratulations on your astute observation.

And you're not pro unless you're making money at it.

Quake Live is a PoS, not even a triple wide resolution support, and the whole game starts to glitch in between the matches.

Let's see: a "crapsole port" MW2 = works with nVsurround just fine after patch
a "PC exclusive" Quake live = doesn't work

I wrote them on the forums and my post didn't get a reply. GG I'm done with this PoS game and I'm sick of being forced to watch some crappy commercial every time.

I only feel bad for noobs if they truly suck.
If they are just new ill give them pointers and try to help them out a bit.
If they are just bad (and refuse advice) or are an a$$h@t I ruin them.

I destroyed him like 29-0 and didn't let him get a single power-up or major weapon. I just felt kinda bad because he was really trying and when the game ended he even typed "gg". I said sorry for owning so hard and gave him a few tips, then he wanted a rematch to see if he could get a frag :<. I quit the server.

I then went to the bathroom and cut myself..................................... another slice of cake.
I do feel a little sympathy for people like that, who are trying, and are still nice at the end. I do the same thing, and try to give them tips that I think are useful. Good sports are sometimes hard to find, so I'd rather have someone like that continue playing, than the alternative.
