Thread Starter
I have had my Asus Rampage III Formula for like 6 months now and never bothered with the Marvell SATA 6Gb/s controllers. (Using OCZ Agility 1 right now)

However I'm considering buying an OCZ Vertex 3 or Intel 510 SSD after they are released in early March, and these two newer SSD would be able to utilize the SATA 6Gb's higher speed.

1. I have read a thread a while ago talking about how some SATA 6Gb/s controllers will not pass the TRIM command to the SSD, is that the case with the Marvell 9128 controller?

2. Also, how would the Marvel 9128 controller impact the latency of the drive compared to the Intel SATA controller?
