Issues on Asus p5p43td - Page 16

Very nice looks fresh and clean.
I would give it a 9/10. Only a nice cause i don`t like that disco-light-my-case-up-stuff
But thats my personal taste. Nice cable management!
I my case there is nothing to be seen except cable the 5850 and a HUGHE noctua...
No chance for cable management cause these effing cables where so short they bearly can connect to stuff
50bucks GZ!

I like the case Prescotter......9/10.....
Very modern look.

@ Mr.Eiht.....I know Ive slowed the OC and Ram down....the big deal is....until yesterday Ive never ever been able to select 1600mhz and have it boot.....ever ever ever.........just testing ..... try this try that....but I cant get stable at prime with this machine....

Any thing over 3.4 ..... prime spits errors out....... so I am still going...at it.

But it was a big deal to me selecting and it booted.....never never could do that... before.....I will keep trying but I think this ram just is not good enough to even get a good speed......oc it and it errors......it all passes memtest individual sticks tested one by one....all passed....all four tested all passed but at 1333mhz in memtest........push the ram and it spits errors....Ripjaws I got the Rip part alright....

I like that case Prescotter.........Ive been looking a cases online last couple of days.....full tower.....ixilo , Coolmaster....I Win....Roswill.....thermal take....lots to look at....Id take that one you have anytime.......just put a extreme I7 and a rampage board in it and ship it to me

As for the wet air........try dry air.......its dry out there Prescotter..... I'm above sea level you crazy Dutchman.......but when it rains .....then I just swivile the thing in...........summer air con......winter in Canada is dry Prescotter very very dry....folk here buy humidifiers in the winter to put moisture in the air///I'm sure in Holland its very different........we get cold dry air that chaps your lips and elbows and wind burns your face...in the dead of winter....honest....

where's the pic of Mr.Eihts machine.......?????

Looks good Prescotter...... that's well over 100 then add tax`s....geeez

Good every1 like my case

@Gore,
If you check to run @ high mem speed. Make sure you use low cpu multiplier,
maybe you get errors, because cpu unstable, while you think its the ram.

I never thought about dropping my pants in public.
For cable management questions: Look at the red "circle" in the pic.
For comments about airflow: Don`t look @this picture!
For complains about me cheating: There is really somewhere in there a mobo!

The cable in red circle is the shortest i EVER seen

Could you supply me total Watts the cooler can dissipate in heat?
(Maybe says on the box)

My cpu TDP=170W estimated on 3.4ghz.(Aida64)

Quote:
On the website of my cooler says:
With detailed engineering design, the Freezer 13 comprises of four U-shaped high performance heatpipes and 45 efficiently formed aluminum fins. The maximum cooling capacity for this cooler is 200W and is able to dissipate massive heat that is produced in high-end CPUS, such as Intel Core i7.
And it looks like your cpu cooler could performan amazing.
i might even think about buying it.

Hmmm NO!
Not even on noctuas site, lol.
I would have posted a link here:
----
to www.frostytech.com but the website seems to be down right now.
There you could see a nice review of that babe.
As a Noctua fanboi: This thing pwns, there might be better ones but are the silent like C14??? I rater doubt it!
Anyway only noobs use air grab this:
http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.c...d=1793&page=12
And while your @ it get one for me too!

/* The cable in the red circle isn`t short it goes waaaay up to the top of the mobo.
I had manage it behind the g.card to get to the top and was happy as chicken that it could reach that far, GZ */

I see you all are still alive.......

Ive been reading your posts...........

@ Prescotter......I viewed the h70........I like it but and a big but......

its a freakin 3pin........a 3pin.......um I got a 4pin on my board PWM.....so if I buy one of these....the fans will run @ 100% all the time....?????? Ive been reading the reviews....thats the big thing.....I guess you could hook them up to a fan controller...and do it that way.....I like the fact that you never have to add water or whatever....its a sealed unit....so it would work for a guy like me....Id run any thing else dry....guaranteed ....

@ Mr.Eiht......I like the noctua very much but the price here for it is well nuts.
but as far as air goes its the best I have researched c,d, version also....they are quite large.......and some tall.....which I got a mid tower....I think that may have been the problem with the V8....it was congested in my case.....I just and I mean just....close the side panel.....and had to remove the side panel fan to close the case up.....It could not breath.....

I need you folks help......

http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...-033-_-Product

or

http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...-160-_-Product

some input would be great...........

Im leaning towards the HAF but.......the XCLIO is catching my eye also.....
want clean, great wire management, and cool cool air flow...and space to spare....both have it........?

Or go to newegg.ca type in full tower..........

I dont want to build a computer..I am going to build a Religion, Gore style...

Check out the old pics of the P4 Prescott.....3.2 I cant do that with this board.
I miss the old girl......

Gore...............no one is missed.............

@Gore,
How do you mean a religion?

Case: Both the pc cases arent really my taste.
I would choose the second one, cuz of the big side fan option.
You could also buy a cheap case, and buy an H70>

I also run my cpu fan 100% all the time. (Disabled the cool n quiet option in bios)
I'm so used to sleeping with cpu fan noise/ aircooler noise, i cant sleep with out
moving air noise/fan speed noise

@prescott chip, these chips get real hot, but **** the temps on these beasts..
They are meant to be hot Just pump the vcore and go!!"

-----
Yesterday, i've booted 3.65ghz on 1.55v on ma Q6600, working good.
Online prime95 reaches bout 70c. I dont even have the cojones to start IBT.
I just want minimal 50% overclock on cpu then im happy

Currently im look on the internet for h50/h70 / other cooling options.
I need moah Cooling

@gore edit: checked the full towers on newegg. And i gotta say, there are no beautifull cases on the 5pages of fulltowers
btw, why you want a full tower? why no midi tower like i have
