Issues on Asus p5p43td - Page 23

60+ Fps is pure smoothness Your Monitor is probaly 60Hz, so it can only display 60fps max.
(If desired, you could turn of V-Sync ingame, or AtiControl Centel or something like that,
For more fps)

If you ever play a more demanding game, you could overclock your videocard a fair bit.
I Searched online on 3870x2 and they have good temps on stock cooler so they can give some extra performance if ever required. If you overclock like the card you get double OC performance cause you actually OC 2 GPU's built on 1 ''gfx card''

About my OC:
Today i tested:
8x400= 3.2 Ghz --= 1.4v stable
9x370= 3.33 Ghz --= 1.4v stable --> Big Drop After this Speed
7x435= 3.05 Ghz --= 1.35v stable
And allot more settings, From 1.400v to 1.300v on vcore,
Only on 1.3v the temps drops maybe from max 71c to 64c.
So for now i put it pack on 3.4Ghz, When Gaming max temp is 66c.
Otherwhise in this new game Flashpoint RedRiver my fps drops to 30fps @ 3Ghz

But today i cleaned around over here, and geuss what i just found an envolope in a closet, with fkin €100 so i also have plans in future now,
to sell my cpu + mobo and upgrade them.
My Memory + Gpu will come better too rights in a decent setup.

But i will wait for Ivy Bridge/Bull Dozer to come or something, so that
prices drop in the market

And its also so damn hot over here, 27c outsidde,
31 inside!!!! The Airco can bring it back too 18c if required .
But 21c 22c is good enough inside .

We could send mr eiht some PM yee

So i`m back!
You both@SB here, ivy there, 2bulldozers as a paperweight...
Man i wish i would have that money...
Gore i just did a SB build with my mate for his girlfriend.
We were in the store: Sabertooth, Maximus and all that good stuff.
Nice 6990 (689€) nice 570/590ers.
To make it short: If i had 5K with me they would be GONE. I think even with 20k i would be without money. So much nice and sexy stuff
But nice to hear that all of ya upgrade soon.
These i5/i7 pwn so bad. If you got the bucks it is hard to resist!
Then i will be the last p43 user standing |
So bye for now.
@Pre` don`t kill any hardware and have fun in a room with 18°C
@Gore Neary scared to ask: But paypal is your "secret" money stash?

Yes and it looks so sweet. It is a bit lowish on PCI-E slots but a nice one.
We bought all the stuff from ALTERNATE which is a few miles away from my home.
Happy money stashing!

Yes Mr.Eiht.........thats what I ment.....

She got a I5.......she must be running better than us......
Thats good to hear....and that you are looking out for her...in the comp store.

Funny around here the small computer shops are bad....never any stock....

I have to go to Toronto to get anything good.....or worth getting.......I see more computer repair shops that do little in the way of selling out here....and if you want something they can order it but you may as well buy from the web after there mark up in price....

They still have not called me about the 3000rpm fans.........I call them and there never in.....I think its more of a money maker for them to just do repair........

Prescott is still putting more volts to his quad.....I hope he does not do another....shall we say.......bake silicon cookies.....

Nice to see your still around......Mr.Eiht.......

Nop, not better than us but 46GFlops @stock clock is pretty impressiv!
She wont be having 100% CPU load in a while.
And Alternat is no small shop. Just found a site that is in english:
http://www.alternate.eu/html/product...l?artno=HTBI24
There you can see they are not small and have ALL that good stuff. All parts from my sig-rig are from there. Plus they sponsor a german CS team!
/* I got doom3 on my hdd and played it in the last month a bit. Didn`t finish the game cause i allways get upset that i don`t have enough ammo */
OT: My rig didn`t boot up today. On second try it did but i backed the o.c. a bit down.
Could be i messed all my settings up. Tried to squeze more out of it in the last time and used the skew on the RAM and other stuff. So now i`m @3,6GHz but nice since i just need 1,27x volts to be stable. Maybe less i was too lazy to try lower volts. My max. temp went down to 54°C and it`s not winter anymore.Today we had ~27°C outside (or more).

Hello guys

Alternate has good prices, i also ordered in there dutch webshop in the past.

@Doom 3, i even finished that game, with a Geforce 4 mx4000 128mb @ crappy gfx .....

Yesterday, it was only 9c outside @ 02.00 hours.
So i wanted one more big time OC before the summer heat kicks in.
9x435=3915mhz, It just kept crashing on me till i put vcore on 1.63v (Not exact, forgot because of my bad memory)
I put the side of my case, and rolled the aircooler unit in front of it.
I've put the AC UNIT on max coolnes, and i put on my winter jacket .

It was fun but now im back to 3.4ghz @ 1.464v.
I needed 0.008 volts higher then the day before

But im still saving the money yes.. yes very hard to do.. gotta get back to work.... but for now... my rig is still enough.. maybe after 2 months, ill check if there is pc good stuff to be bought
