IBT-Stable?
My temps are bit over 30°C idle under IBT around 50 if run ibt forever then temps go up to 60. Don`t get me wrong 50-60 under load is fine (even more) but i like to keep my baby cool. And aida proofes nothing, like pre` said. I bet ibt gets your temps up to 60+! And with your case fans is nothing wrong imo. Arctic silver nice. So blame the coolermaster ? (frown.gif )
And maybe you dont know : We got the bestestest p43 mobo out there,
other p43 black out @420 and such!
Anyway if youre happy with 3,2 nice. Then you could go on to the next stage and tune the RAM smile.gif
And @pre` this is what your RAM is @[auto] i guess. If i leave mine @auto its going down to 800MHz or something lol. Just leave the PCI-E and play with the manual settings. The auto-option will pic some odd number which will work. But i rather doubt that you will get it to work @1600Mhz, cause this is x.m.p and you have to choose x.m.p in BIOS and if that all works kookoo.gif

Manual ram timings put its @ 533mhz.applaud.gif

And.. The XMP profile wont work either.
Even entering all timings manually.
In total i think i've tried 40hours of bios combos.sozo.gif
Rebooting -> Checking windows resouce monitor for memory errors -> prime95 blend.

For now i geuss i leave it 630 6-6-6-16.

Untill one day when im in the mood. Ill try it again.

Btw, the 10% extra mem speed. Wont make that much different at all.. 1,2fps in games.
When i get my cpu to run cooler, ill oc that. It will give much more fps

EDIT:

Currently testing with 420fsb, ram @ 1400mhz, 7-7-7-20 1.69v. NO ERRORS STILL after 40min prime95 blend... mee love u long time p5p43td

Eheheh,

It wouldnt boot @ 425fsb with 100 pci-e mhz,
Not with 101mhz, but its 100% stable @ 102mhz.

Couple a days ago i only test 104mhz and 105mhz.

You guys should see mee sitting here, staring at the prime95 screen,
With a smile from my left eye corner to my right eye corner.

So know im @ 3400mhz cpu, 1700mhz NB, 425mhz fsb, 1416mhz ram @ 7-7-7-20
wheee.gifwheee.gif

edit: 1.5 hours stable @ prime95 blend...
me so happppyyyy

You guys have any idea whats ram voltage?
Stock @ my ram its 1.5 -> 1.65v. Now im @ 1.69v.
Would it be safe to go all the way to 1.75v?

High settings @ IBT

Ram volt = 1.695
vcore bios = 1.48. idle=1.456 load=1.368 (insane @ ibt)

i need high vcore, bacuase my VID is 1.325v

this Its stable @ 9x378=3400mhz, 630mhz 6-6-6-16
now its @ 8x425=3400, 708mhz 7-7-7-20

you gotta help me:P
Or i oversmoke myself because of overclock stress hehee

edit: I fixxed it, it seems my green sticky fingers, accidently lowered my vcore by 1 notch.
Now its back up to 1.4875 in bios. No it doesnt drop from 1.368 to 1.360, just enough...
I continue testing now, ill report back asap

can`t oversmoke smile.gif
i would try a run with REAL loose timings like 9-9-9-27 or something.
If that fails you could be 100% shure it`s the RAM ...
and maybe you look here, just a idea
