After 45 mins of IBT still stable.

And i remember that games like Bioshock/Medal of Honor my cpu was 66c.
While in Prime95 only 62c

But its just ****ed my cpu is 65nm. Its getting 70c @ IBT.
Its like watching the pc monitor and waiting is it gonna hold

Tonight i will test current settings with some Crysis 2.
My rig plays it so smoothly @ hardcore 8xAA partly because my monitor is only 1360x768.
Soon i will buy 1080p Monitor.

I will report back soonsoon. And tonight, when im in the state,
of not knowing if im awake or asleep.
I still think Mr.Eiht is the man , the p5p43td expert

btw
and about that pissing in my pc quote,
as you can see i never did it hehe I couldnt do it to my lil Q6600

Sry that statement was too funny.
Nice to hear that it`s stable.
I`m really glad that i could help you!
But YOU where the guy who spend all the time fixing, respect for that.
So you are pro with this mobo, too. I can only show you the door ... (ups stolen from matrix)
Plz don`t fry your CPU above 70ish and HF with your OC and crysis

Everytime i finished a beer, i have the urge to check this thread lal...
[/offtopic]

But, could you also run a memory speed test software like aida64/everest or something.

And post your Read, Write and Copy speeds?

Mine:
Read: 8961 MB/s
Write: 7762 MB/s
Copy: 8404 MB/s

So we can compare

And for Crysis 2,

In the program CoreTemp, you have overheat protection.
I enabled that when my cpu reaches 72c or it gives me an error message.
And if it maintains it longer then 15 seconds, the computer will shutdown.

Edit:
Do you know a program that can read out the WHOLE SPD LIST from the ram?
Cause i found out the ram timings are always from my 533mhz table,
i only changed the first 4. (one time i entered all manualy on 1600mhz, your timings +1 all even tried)

Hi Prescotter.....Mr.Eiht

I to have been busy......

Pulled the V8.....what a chore....I found my old old zallman 3pin copper flower fan/heat sink...... basically a big chunk of copper.....

Get this guys: V8 @ 3.4 oc @ 1,368 volts = 43c-44c Idle

The Zallman @ 3.4 oc @ 1,368 volts = 31c-32c Idle

I reseated the V8 3 times using Arctic Silver with the board out of the case...
and with flashlight in hand making sure it was seated all the way around the Cpu. The screws were checked for tightness....you see where I`m going with all this...every measure was taken to assure correct installation. (No Joy)....

A freakin 4 year old 3 pin Zallman is putting a Big Bad V8 to total shame....

I only put the Zallman in once that is first try and Im getting these results...
I cant find the dam receipt for the V8 either......Its not even a month old. I inspected it and all looks perfect shiny and brand new........Geeeeeezzzz

Sorry Cool Master but what a let down........

I grabbed a fan controller too.........today and need to do some work on it and get 4 new fans........also properly place the temp probes......
but I got this cheap machine @ 3.5 and 1.376volts prime 95 passed and Its still Idle @ 38c peek on start up is 43c the freak-in V8 Idled at 43c for heaven sake unbelievable...........Little over 80 bucks for crap....

Sorry Mr.Eiht as I have not gotten to the ram but Pescotter may get the answers for me. I`ve read the posts and he finally is getting somewhere.

Im done complaining about the V8 but I should contact Cool Master and see what they say and post it here for all to see...........after all its only a 11c diff....Lower than their premier cooler....

Only 11c Cooler using a 4 year old Zallman that is a used 4 year old Zallman..

Im typing this and now Im Idle @ 3.5 33c unreal

Well at least Im heading in the right direction.......four new fans come next and will see if I can increase Air flow......I also bought a High end power bar....really nice.........filters dirty power out....so I rewired alot today but Its all been worth it..........Gosh I Need A V8 juice that is.....

Type to you good folks soon.........

Hey Gore,

Weird that the coolermaster fan is a pile a !@#$%.
But Zallman always where good and quiet.

You could also try the Arctic Cooling Freezer 13 /Pro
My chip gets hotter then yours. And Idle im @ 33,35c too.
But it goes stressed all the way to 70c.
Maybe check out some reviews? If you have spare money

And are you going to try OC higher?

And i also had to up my timings from 7-7-7-20 to 8-8-8-23.
I still got to figgure out what is good max voltage for my ram.
I think i send the manufacterer a email.

And guys also some important stuff.
On the internet they have benchmarks with gfx card,
to see what pci express frequency gives best performance.
They test: 101mhz all the way up to 110mhz.(Some ppl use even higher)
So it seems 110mhz aint hazard.
--> And with our motherboard, it seems the higher pci-express, the higher fsb can be.
That is my conclusion so far.

But i think its still risky.

-realised im awake like... 24/7 for some days... my head.. onooo
gott to getsss some zleeeep...............

edit:
this is also some good stuff, Nexus Fan Adapter

allows 120mm fan on 80mm mounting hole (and reverse)

I really like the epicness of this thread
Hi gore ! I would say either the v8 is concave or your CPU is. If you put a razorblade where it would touch the CPU then you should see if it`s flat or not. I bet it`s not.
This is for the CPU, do the same with the heatsink
http://i35.tinypic.com/2hxsglx.jpg
But nice that you got a cool CPU, sad that you spend 80bucks.
// ----------------------------------------------------------
@pre` there are also oeple out there who have fried theire card woth high PCI-E`s o_O.
If you put more than 1,65V on your RAM then youre getting in the zone where it`s possible to fry your RAM and only for 1% gain in speed, I wouldnt do that.Your choice.
With whole SPD you mean subtimings or woot? I dont know a program that displays the JDEC-specs for subtimings. Is there even a JDEC-spec for subtimings? I doubt it.
With maxxmem2 i get cp:9852MB/s read:8740MB/s write: 9298MB/s
These are with 1456MHz and 9-9-9-24-2T - so your values seem a bit low
And pls, it really seems that you overclock yourself too much {not_lol}

The **** hits the fan... again..

Had to loosen my timings again. Now its 9-9-9-24.
And it lowered my mem bandwith some more .

I wish my cpu had 0.5 multipliers...

I geuss i will test some more soon. Now its time to chill some.
