I wish you luck with your rig... and yeah around 300 bucks for a 570 is not bad at all! I'm selling my GTX 460 to offset the cost of my new 570, since there are no rebates!

I ended up very sadly being unable to use my 460 in my new rig because my parents sadly offered to pay for some of my new rig as a 23rd birthday present on the very crappy condition i give my dad my old rig

Ok more like "most" of my rig, because i didnt get anything for christmas or anything and i need it for stuff

btw the first paragraph was sarcasm, I'm not sad at all, my old rig is major overkill for my dad but hey, whos gonna complain?

The sexiest card on the market to date. Except the 580 version with the backplate ofcourse. Still gladly rockin' the DirectCU MK1 haha

EDIT: also might want to invest in a support bracket for that beast, i swear in one of the pictures the card is at a slope. Did yours come with a backplate too?

Roweyi7 - in my GTX570 there is the backplate

Sohryu76 - can you change/monitor voltage is Asus Smart Doctor? I've version 5.72 (the most fresh on website?) and I can't do that 2 activities...

With the Asus Smart Doctor that came with the card I can change the voltage as well as monitor it.

Yes there is a back plate on my card. I will have to check on the card today again to see if there is a slope. Or if its just a camera angle thing.

EDIT: The chick in the 3rd background (last image) looks familiar......

I have this card as well and I was thinking about finding some way to brace it, I had to tighten the bolts onto the back a bit to much and there is still some drag on the MB. I'm sure its not much worse then having a big heavy air cooler on your CPU but that's the reason I didn't go that route with my CPU. I expected this card to be heavy but was a little shocked by just how heavy it was when I took it out of the box. Alot of the weight is from the shroud being metal. I haven't seen any problems with the 580 version however and its been available for a few weeks now
