I received my card yesterday and everything ran awesome, but when I shutdown my pc for the night, the green light on the card was still on a hr after the pc was shutdown. Is this normal?

Just picked one of these up Open Box for $250. I wanted to back back to Nvidia and I love the design.
I have an FT02, so the weight of the card will not be an issue, the 90 degree orientation is perfect for this card.

Eh, this generation of video cards, a 10fps difference can warrant upgrades for a lot of people.
Depends on resolution. It may not make a difference at 1650x1050 but at 2560x1600+, 10fps could be a difference between a smooth frame rate and a slide show.

Not when it's off. That's why i found it kinda strange that the gpu light was on. I've never seen it before.

hello people... I have read one test of asus gtx 570 direct Cu II here in serbia... a man get a stable overclok of it 965/1150 with 1.125V...( of course with flashed bios)-default vid was 0.95v

i just bought this card and i can get it stable over 915/1150mhz on 1.1v!( in asus smart doctor...). my default vid is 0.988 v....

can i be satisfied with this clocks ??? 915/1150mhz??

is there any program that can up volts over 1.1v?? or i must flash bios?

Thanks, OP. You just taught me that I would rather look at computer specs than pictures of scantily clad women.

you must flash your BIOS to get volts over 1.1v

as far as if you will be satisfied? only you will know that.

I was OC'd to 900 stable 1.125v so your card is nicer than mine was.
