Thanks for the answer Juano,

What happened is that i was using afterburner to read my voltage and core speed etc... And right after flashing the bios i checked back Afterburner and the voltage was 1.013 instead of 0.988.

Is 1.013v the reference voltage of the Direct CU II cards?

Modern GPUs all have differing voltages, since from the 200 series or earlier I think. So multiple 570s will all have different voltages, dependent on what each individual chip requires.

Hi,

I have a noob ques for you guys. I just got my Asus GTX 570 Direct CU II and the card only came with 1 wire a 8pin at 1 end for the card and it breakes off into 2 6pins for the power supply. when I turned on my system the 2 fans are turning on the card but black screen, but when I looked at some of the 1st posts the cards are plug in with 1 8pin and 1 6pin! I do have 2 extra 6pin wires that came with my 850W power supply.

Ques: should I or do I use the wire that comes with the card 8pin at 1 end that plugs into the card and the other end splits into 2 6pins for power supply. Then use 1 of the extra 6pin PCI-E wires that comes with the power supply to plug into the card? So what I will have if I look at the power supply 3 6pin connected and on the card the 1 8pin connected and 1 6pin connected?

Thanks for your time.
