Just ran my first test currently have my Voltage set to 1.05 and my clocks at 900/1800, my memory clock remains stock at 1900. I ran a 20 pass test and my temp never went above 55c. Still using the stock fan profile for cooling. Havent had a need to change it so far. As far as smart doctor goes I am only using it for the voltage changes. I close MSI when I am using it and I then close Smart doctor and tell it to keep the settings.

3/5/2011 10:58:48 PM - Vista 64

Run #1- DX10 1920x1080 AA=8x, 64 bit test, Quality: VeryHigh ~~ Overall Average FPS: 42.265

As far as the size goes this is a card you make a choice to buy. I am not planning on running the card in SLI and even if I do end up SLI'ing it I happen to have room for another. However if you are looking for a single card that is a non reference design and has superior cooling, than I am convinced that without going with a water cooled card, then this card is the card to get. I am still a little concerned about the weight of the card I will continue to keep an eye on how much it strains my MB.

Mine is clocked at 1.075 (bit higher voltage, so i am not surprised my temp maxes out at 57C... just a little higher than yours.

Its very quite until you turn the fan up to about 70% or so. It never reaches that high though unless you set it that way

Run #1- DX10 1680x1050 AA=8x, 32 bit test, Quality: VeryHigh ~~ Overall Average FPS: 34.871666666666666666666666667

Did that on 20 loops followed by 25 loops a couple minutes later with almost the same score. Perfectly stable, max temp was 58C, but it spent most of the time at 56C. Idle is at 37C. My fan profile has a 1:1 ratio from 45 to 60C with 45=45% too.

Just like to stress here, my case (Aerocool VX-R) isn't nearly a "good" airflow case, especially without the bottom intake fan mounted (insane dust with it mounted).

P.S. Smartdoctor is wholly inferior to Afterburner, shame that you can't adjust the DCII voltage in afterburner. That said, anyone know if there are issues using SmartDoctor to do the overclocking (voltage/core/memory) and then afterburner for fan control? Obviously I'd close afterburner anytime I made OC adjustments in Smartdoctor and Smartdoctor would have the fan set to "auto".

P.S.S. Holy **** watching the benchmark show a 3.5 million poly count at times. No wonder this game used to be impossible to run.
I think you need the latest beta version of afterburner to change voltage.

Mine wouldn't allow voltage changes until I got the beta
