Asus bios update corrected Phenom II temp offset

First off, love the site, glad to be a part of the community!

Edit: Cpu- Phenom II x2 550 BE

Not sure how much anyone should look into this, but I just updated my bios version today(Asus M3n72-d) to revision 1510. In doing so, I noticed that no matter what program I use to monitor my cpu's temps( speedfan, hwmonitor, etc..) it has increased about 11c.

Initially I was concerned that maybe it was a bios flash gone wrong so i reverted to the old bios. Dropped the temp back down about 10-12c depending on what monitoring program I used. Went back to the 1510 rev. and again, back up.

Before the bio's update, my cpu idled at about 23-25c(obviously unrealistic) with stock cooler. Now it consistenly shows about 35c.(more realistic)

Figured maybe some people would be interested in this. Noticed Asus released quite a few bios updates for different boards. Maybe they changed how Phenom II's temps are output, or maybe they automatically set an offset for Phenom II's.
Anyone else experience this?

P.s. Sorry if I posted in the wrong section. I looked at the thread in the newbies section on deciding where to post, and this seemed the most logical.

Bahh, its the x6 that have the incorrect temp monitor. Phenom x2 and x4's don't have the problem you are speaking of. Might be a bios problem then.
