i understand what you're saying, but thats just not how games are rendered. now some games are worse offenders than others, but all games (except non-perspective games like starcraft) have that stretching/fishbowl effect to some extent the farther you get away from the center. adjusting the FOV will sometimes help a bit, but it will always be there to some degree. just do a quick search of youtube for people's eyefinity/surround setups and now that you're looking for it, i bet youll notice it a lot more

That's how games render today. It is NOT FIXable with modern game engines, maybe in the future. It can't be fixed. There's only the solution of lowering the FOV, which makes you see less.

The effect is still there with single monitors. But it's worse the wider the FOV.


You are going to HAVE TO deal with it unless you go portrait. No other solutions here.
