Another Antec mod....

Well, I've worked on my Antec 300 watercooling single loop and got it up and running stable with low temperatures. Now since I'm slightly insane, I have an idea I'm very unsure about for it. What do you think of this?

Why the dual loop system? One loop should work fine for that setup

Yeah... I figured that out last night, I was up for hours thinking and playing around with ideas on paint to visualize them. I'll edit with the new idea soon. Need to finalize it.

Dual rads in a single loop would be my recommendation, save the space of a second res/pump. Looks great though, classic OCN cheers.gif

Instead of a dual 140 would a single 120 work with push/pull on it?
I figure this is more acceptable.

Thanks mate! I take my time, and always do 1/3 scale. I just use a ruler, pencil, and calculator. ^_^

That'd be fine, but you'll want that rear 120 rad as an intake too, otherwise you'll just be recycling the hot air from the 240 and you wont see good results. I'd suggest front/rear intake and top/side exhaust if you can.

It's okay to have a an intake rad and an exhaust rad, the more rad space the better, however having an intake rad will diminish the efficiency of the exhaust rad.

And as far as its set up goes the less tubing you use the better, mostly because of cost. Loop order won't make much difference so long as the intake on the pump isn't restricted(but with a res-pump that shouldn't be a problem).

I like where your going with this mod and the more power to you if your successful in cramming that much cooling power in a relatively small case. I'm may even cram another 360 rad following a similar design. I just need to acquire a 3.5" drive cage for my four 1TB drives and I'm set.
