But he cant. he needs help as im lost on it. I was going to have him ship it to me and get a aftermarket cooler and mount it on it. but i got no clue on layout and what would fit, anyone with insite would be great. he cant lower res the monitor wont re-size. So i mite ship him a pc. and have him sell it. if i cant resolve this for him.

ha has a laptop cooler. Is more on the lines of gpu geting hot and enought cooling. I was wondering if i could have him Underclock the gpu so it would not under volt the thing. he did turn off safety feathers once. But then it needed rma. i know the coolers in laptops suck but come on . there has to be a better way.

1. Is the gpu fan working? Is it speeding up with the higher temps.
2. Take off all the plates on the bottom of the laptop (ram plate' cpu plate, etc). This really helps wit temps. I have a cheapy laptop and I tell the temps dropped with just hand near the components.
3. Download HWmonitor and MSI Afterburner.

With Afterburner go into settings and make sure every temp is checked off to show up ingame. Then fire up HWmonitor (check off continous monitoring so itll constantly update) and run a game in window mode so you can watch HWmonitor.
