Not being ablke to adjust the FOV is not a restraint of UE3 (you can change FOV in Unreal Tournament 3 within the advanced settings, I just checked this to be sure before posting). Blame the developers of the game for not including it.
I'll give you AA (seems I have never seen a UE3 game that does have AA on PC) though at least something can be easily done about it via GPU software.
On topic a bad port I would say is Dragon Age: Origins (I'm not even sure if it's a port but it's not very good either way on a technical level). Doesn't really offer much more over the console version (though I love some of the texture mods) and has issues with multi-core PCs (to the point where some users had to run it on a single core to stop it from crashing to BSOD).
