Guide on some useful sidebar gadgets

Hey there!

Just though I´d post a screenshot and some info on my sidebar gadgets and also see what useful gadgets you guys got installed.

Both are from SFKilla

First one is called "Multi Meter" and the second is "HWMonitor Meter".

For info on how to install sidebar gadgets refer to: Installing and restoring Windows Sidebar gadgets

The configuration on both gadgets is pretty much selfexplaining but to give you an idea of how the options menu looks:

You can select the value been shown, a title for it and also add matching bars and graphs. That´s where, in my oppinion, these gadgets differ from all the other available - you can configure them 100% to your needs and favorized looks. For example you can enter ANY hex-color and not only chose from red, black, blue, white... There als also some cliparts (HDD, RAM,...) and a lot of different backgrounds (even some pictures) to be used, but I wanted it to look "professional and clean". ;-) You can even access your HDDs by clicking on the info!

It can be quite tricky and takes a lot of time to configure the gadgets cause you have to adjust it pixel by pixel, but one you are done, it´s really unique! :-) If anybody should be interested in my presets, feel free to contact me!

A word on the "HWMonitor Meter":

To have this gadget show you any value you need to have HWMonitor installed. The free version does fine! Get it here

Additionally you will need the so called "HWMonitor Gadget" available from here (I provide the direct download link, cause it´s a German website). You put this application into your HWMonitor folder and link it to your autostart. Whenever Windows starts up now, this little tool will put HWMonitor into your tray to let the sidebar gadget access it.

You can select ANY value given out by HWMonitor to be shown in your sidebar gadget! That´s really neat, isn´t it? ;-)

There that both these gadgets are from the same creator they match perfectly in design!

Well, guess most of you already knew bout this, but maybe theres some people that I could help with it!

I'm still using good ol' Rivatuner! A bit aged, but still very effective!

But on the other hand, your gadgets are hot, and i'm gonna try em out right now!
