Need a quick bigadv tutorial - Page 3

Thread Starter
I just had to reinstall my client on another rig, and it's doing the same thing -no work. What gives? This stinks, i spend almost 600 dollars on a new bigadv rig- no bigadv. I think 2 core i7 rigs running smp only gets the same ppd as one running bigadv, thats where I'm at, 600 dollars poorer...

I need fahcore 5? I'm getting the "attempt #3 to get work failed, and no other work to do. Waiting before retry."
How do you display your log like you did? never done that.
EDIT: solved by copying the directory from my machine running bigadv at the moment, with the exception of the queue.dat and work folders. worked like a charm. Just didn't get to the root of the problem.

Just open the log file copy and paste. In the future all you have to do to change the core is go into the FAH folder with the core you want copy the core itself and paste it to the FAH folder you need it in. Or go to Stanford and get the drop in core save it to your desk top and put it in the folders as needed. Or you could have deleted the a3 core and FAH should download the latest available core.
