CoolIT ECO A.L.C

Hey, guys!

I'm considering the ECO and the Corsair H50. The ECO is cheaper while it looks better, and there's nothing to really justify the higher price on the H50?

Also, how does these watercooling solutions compare to any air cooler? Stock cooler is also fine.

Anyway, I was wondering if this will fit the AM3+ socket when it's released?

Thanks!

If I am correct, the mounting should be the same as the AM3, AM2+ and AM2. I have a feeling AMD won't change it.

I have an ECO and love it. My CPU is clocked at just over 4GHz and get idles at ~40*C. Basically, this are about as competitive as a super high quality air cooler. So, it's a good investment.

The H50 has a better coldplate than the ECO, and definitely looks like it has a better rad, but they perform roughly in the same ballpark.

I agree with AuraNova, my ECO ALC with 2 fans keeps my 1055T right around 35C @ 4.0GHz, 1.5v at idle. Under gaming it has not gone over 55C i think

Dont bother get an air cooler for the same price as these and get much better temps. I had an ECO and they really are overpriced compared to a same price air cooler.

ECO is quieter and has a less powerful pump and less vibration.
It also cools about 1C or 2C less than the h50

Therefore the h50 naturally has a more powerful pump, and it is louder and has more vibration. Cools slightly (1C or 2C) better.

Up to you. I say go with the eco because 2C difference is nothing and it is quieter and vibrates less, and is cheaper.

Thanks! Lovely to get some feedback on this.

Okay, then I think I'll go for the ECO. Air cooling is out of the question, I'm tired of having a huge heatsink blocking my view.

I went from an Asetek lclc (h50) to the megahalems after my asetek lclc crapped out.
It had bubbles in it, so i took it out of the case and ran it. then it LEAKED!

I'm just glad it was out of the case.

Now, that's scary! Dam lol.

Also, how is the installation on these things? Pretty straight forward? And the liquid, how often do you have to replace it?
