Hey man I love the set up. I was wondering I noticed you had and open bay under the fan controller. Is that really open? I wanted to put 2 disc drives, res, and fan controller but I'm not sure if there is enough room.

You can raid two ssd's in the hot swap bays as long as you run the sata cables to the same controller. The hot swap bays have holes for sad drives already for mounting.

If you're willing to remove the hot swap bays like I did you should have room. If you're gonna put a 360 Rad up top you'll have more room for the bays if your Rad inlets are at the back of the case as well.

Yea thats what I was thinking. So the secondary rad works just as good on the bottom next to the psu as it does on the back where the stock fan is located. I've seen the secondary rad in both places and having it on the bottom allows me the extra space. Does the fan controller give off much heat?

I'm using the Rheosmart6 controller and it has pretty large heatsinks.. I don't notice the fan controller heat at all honestly. The water in the reservoir is warmer honestly.

Septro,

I just have to compliment you and say what an extremely clean looking WC setup you have here. I am very impressed and I love the simplicity and elegance of the clutter free look you have accomplished. Your Latest Build Pic at the beginning of your post is absolutely stunning!!!

I am new to the forums and this is my first post. I am in the process of putting together a complete new Gaming Rig.

I will be doing a very similar, if not pretty damn close to an identical component build as what you have done. I was originally looking at the XSPC Rasa 750 RS360 Universal CPU / Triple Radiator Water Cooling Kit http://www.frozencpu.com/products/12...tem.html#blank , but you have inspired me with what you've done

The only thing I don't think I'll be doing at this time is the GPU coolers. Ripping apart the stock fans just plain freaks me out!

I'm obviuosly going with the Asus Maximus IV Extreme as well as AX 1200 PSU, HAF X, and 3 x EVGA GTX580 SC for starters. (I'll make another post with everything I'm planning to do in the **Official** Asus Maximus IV Extreme Owners Club, for advice on my new project)

I would love to hit you up for some pointers and see what you did for your final WC shopping list. I see that you have posted your original parts as well as some new ones and curious what you finally ended up with for your final creation after all was said and done.

I have a few questions for starters for you..
Are you planning on doing any further additions to Operation Badonkadonk?

I'm curious why you went with G.Skill for Ram?
I'm still sifting thru all the posts in http://www.overclock.net/intel-mothe...me-owners.html
and I'm sure the reasoning is buried in there some where. But it appears to me you have defiantly done your homework with the parts you ordered.

And lastly, does the Bigfoot Killer 2100 Gaming Network Card really make any kind of difference?

Anyways... that was long winded enough so I'll let ya be.

Again, Beautiful Job!

As a side note... While editing this post I checked Newegg for ****'s and grins to see what the status of the MoBo was (It's been out of stock for a week) and... I just completed the purchase for the MoBo!!!

I love it! "Thank you for shopping at Newegg.com
We're delighted we had what you were looking for!
Your order should be processed and ready to be shipped within 24-48 hours. Below is your order confirmation. Please keep a copy for your records."

Sorry, don't bother running over to NE to get it... The current status is that it's Sold Out again!

@Tinkeritis - Thanks bud. I just got done today with my last set of mods, sleeving and adding another 240 rad.. Will be posting pics and updated parts list soon.

I originally had a MSI mobo and the GSkill RAM was on the compatibility list plus the NE reviews were pretty good. They've worked real well so far on the MEIV mobo.

I had to take out the Bigfoot network card as the MEIV location for PCIx1 slots don't work out as well as the MSI board and there's no room in between the video cards due to the EK-SLI bridge. Something I hadn't considered but honestly - I don't miss it much. The app network management was cool but network performance is the same with the on-board NIC.

GL to ya on your build - be sure to start a build log as I found the feedback here can help alot to minimize mistakes for first timers.

I like it much better than the NZXT.. the button underneath each knob can be set to auto (PWM off mobo) or manual mode. The knob just goes from off (left) to full (right). Each knob has a indicator - not as fancy as some digital displays fan controllers but the red LEDs and look match the HAF-X pretty good with the Rheosmart6.

Just curious, where can you fit a 240 rad in the HAF X? Looks pretty cramp already. On the bottom of the case, resting on top of the PSU? I'm planning to have a 360 and a 240 in my HAF X as well, and so far the only places I think they will fit is the top for the 360 and the bottom for the 240.
