Have you weighed that damn thing?

It's probably making dents on your floor...

Looks sexy though

Heya Septro,

I haven't received my case yet, but would a RX240 fit on the bottom, between the PSU and the front fan, if the left side of the 2.5 bay vertical bracket was cut?
Thinking about modding the case to allow a 240 on the bottom if it will fit.

Wondering if in fact a 240 will fit on the bottom... what the temps may be with 1-RX360 & 2-RX240's

No kidding.. I lifted it up and it felt like about at least 50lbs. The only part of the weight that really concerns me tho is the 3video cards - that is like 15lbs alone. I think I'll mod a reinforcement rod to hold them up at one point.

Yea a 240 will fit on the bottom easily if you cut the HD cage. I would guess that the temps would be somewhere between hi 50c's to low 60's with just a 360 and 240. Worse comes to worse, you always can add another RAD to the back like I did

Just wondering, how much did the water cooling parts cost you. I am just trying to get some estimates for a future project that I am doing. Looks great though!

Man, if I had to add it all up right now off the top of my head - I think I may have been somewhere just barely under 4 figures. I'm avoiding putting together the final parts list just because of that reason..

Just make sure the support rod is the same matt black as the case

Any other color would ruin the look

Will you be putting together a parts list for the stage you're at now?

I'm contemplating going with 1-RX360 & 2-RX240's and ditching the RX120 if the RX240 will fit at the bottom of the cage, that is, if it will fit once the hard drive column is modified. (I get my case on Wednesday, so I'll measure it then to see if it will fit.)

I have a few more questions for you if you wouldn't mind...

How's my attached shopping list looking? Anything close to what you have in your final setup?
I still need to add the 6? 1/2" Compression Fittings, the water tubing, and not to mention all the sleeving and shrink tube. (that crap is pricy!!!)
Anything I need to adjust or add to my shopping list?

How many Stop fittings did you use? I'm not sure how many the GPU block takes. 1 on top of the triple parallel bridge and 2 at the bottom?

Did you use 9 Dual Rotary 45-Degree Compression Fittings?

Oh, and 1 really important question... Do you think the 2 Swiftech MCP655â„¢ Series 12 VDC Water Pumps - With Speed Control are enough or should I be looking for something stronger?

Thanks Much!

Waiting anxiously for your updated photos and shopping list

Awww I'm happy that I received my HAF X case but was saddened once I measured the distance on the bottom between the PSU and the front case fan and came up with 11-1/8"

The RX240 measures out at 11-1/4" Not only is it not going to fit even if I modified the Hard drive tower case legs, I couldn't even plug anything in to the PSU.

I might be able to make it work if I removed the front case fan, but I think that would be defeating the purpose.

So, Septro... it looks like you came up with the most practical solution to water cooling this HAF X case. I did see a post where someone modded a 932 case and hinged the door and installed a couple slim rads on it.

I need to do more research or just go with what works... your build.

Tinkeritis...what about removing the HDD cage in the front, and using the 200mm Phobya rad like I did here?
