i7 temps

Thread Starter
I've got a 360 rad, 3 sharkoon golf fans in the rad, and an EK-Supreme HF Nickel water block, and a XSPC RAD/PUMP combined.. using MX-3 my idle temps were 33 - 35 at the start, now they seem to be 40 or 44.. should I be worried about the rise in temps like this? all housed in the 800D case.

Also, I just had a 124 BSOD, with 1333 MHz of ram at 3.8 ghz, using 200 x 19, and 1.35, would getting better ram fix this? 1600, or 2000 mhz.. i want to push to 4.2

I've heard maybe I should get another 3 fans and do push/pull.. but unsure about that too, thanks for input

Try 24 / 175 for 4.2

Or 21 / 190 or whatever it was

What are the temps under full load...??

Push/pull is def the way to go because it will cause more airflow to flow over the components.

124 BSOD means you need more Vcore. I suspect you're running at stock volts? Or auto?

What are you temps under load? That will tell us more than idle temps, but 40C for idle is really high, assuming 20C or so ambient. (Btw what is your ambient?)

Push/Pull if you can, get a lot more air moving through the radiator that way.

hi, i am running phenom 1100t through same block and i am running similar temps with 8gb of ddr3 1600 ram,(i am running single radiator but i am upgrading to twin radiator as well as the single radiator with push pull set up with fans(in front and behind rads) this should make some difference to temps, you could also increase your tube size,if your running 3/8in id tube try 1/2in id tube.
