5770 Issues

Thread Starter
I'll try to be as precise as possible and see if you guys can help me.

I heard a sound with my 5770 like the fan was hitting up against something a few weeks ago. Since then, whenever I play a game, it has been overheating and the fan has been way louder than it ever has been. I have dusted to best of my ability, reseated, and still the problem exists.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm getting really concerned and hope someone could offer a fix for this.

I can see the fan spinning perfectly fine at the moment.

if you are think of getting a after market cooler, i just got a Scythe Setsugen 2 for my 5770 because i hated the noise of the stock 'birdcage' fan. fairly easy to install and only $40 CAD from newegg.ca
my temps are nearly 20C lower now!!
