Eyefinity grouping not working

Thread Starter
So I have three Samsung BX2250 monitors. I got it to work with the following connections, but I want to get it to work with the second suggestion.

Mind you this monitor doesnt have DVI connections. They have 2 HDMI and a VGA.

(Works)
Left monitor DVI to HDMI
Center monitor Mini Display to VGA
Right monitor DVI to HDMI

The reason I wanted all DVI to HDMI is due to the inability to change the DVI to HDMI scaling option and having the left and right monitors with black bars. (Maybe you know how to correct this?)

(Doesnt work)
Left monitor DVI to HDMI
Center monitor Mini Display to DVI/DVI to HDMI (I have two Mini Display adapters, one Mini to DVI and the other Mini to HDMI, neither work in eyefinity)
Right monitor DVI to HDMI

With this serup CCC can see all three hooked up, but I can only group 1x2 or 2x1.

Ideas?

Also, I know the Mini Display to DVI/DVI to HDMI is working because that is the monitor Im typing to you on.

Welp, I think I figured it out, I assume that it has to do with not having an active mini displayport adapter. Weird that it works in VGA, but not DVI.

Got the borders fixed too
