Sata Sleeving Question

Thread Starter
Is it possible to just have one sata connector on a connector that has 4? What I mean is, can I remove the other 3 sata connectors on the cord and wrap it with black electrical tape? I only use 1 so to have 4 connectors when sleeving doesn't look very slick to me.

Depending on how the connectors are made, yes. IF they are just clip-on connectors, then yes. If they actually required being punched-down, then yes, you still can, but would have to be very careful when disassembling or you may break the wires.
