What do you think of this build?

-Intel Core i7 2600K
-Gigabyte P67A-UD7-B3 (yes the chipset flaw has been fixed!!)
-Corsair Vengeance DDR3 16GB (4x4GB) 1600MHz (CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9)
-ATI Radeon HD 6870 in 3-way Xfire
-Corsair F40 Force Series 40GB 2.5" SSD SATA 3Gbs
-Western Digital Caviar Black HDD 1TB 7200RPM 64MB SATA 6Gbs
-Cooler Master 690 II Advanced

I might be going Watercooling DEPENDING on how hot/loud the system gets, otherwise stock.

It looks all good. Althought, where did you find a MB with the flaw fixed? I can't find that mobo on newegg or any site? Other than that, you could get a CM HAF 932 or X, but it's all tastes.

16gb of RAM? What you planning on using the PC for? Also to be honest if you are going high dollar on your build with 3-way cross fire and water cooling I would get a full tower case. Also 3-way 6870? I would think 2 6950's would be a better buy right now. I'd also shave some money of other parts and get a larger SSD. You are also missing a PSU. I would also at least get a Coolmaster 212+ for CPU cooling if you don't go Watercooling.

for the gigabte one, if you go on their website, it will have that microsite for the new B3 stepping (fixed chipset), and if you go through by clicking on 1155 mobos, is will list the new ones with the old ones. i dunno bout the other companies though.

i dont want to go high end 69"" graphics cards, i know that it would be better, but i am saving money so no high end for me yet. the ssd is to hold win7 ultimate 64bit and other things that would be important. other than that the other hdd is for storage of schoolwork and gaming. maybe i'll go 8 gig ram instead. and i am looking for a suitable psu that i like, no luck finding one yet.

well, for me i would not have 16Gb of ram. its more effect if you go with 6 or 12Gb. and the ssd i would give it sometime. on price to get lower. bigger case if you want to go with watercooling...

I agree with BigFrank. A full tower case would probably be more appropriate for this build. A mid tower will be pretty tight with 3 video cards in it and your temps could get pretty high. Also, if you do eventually watercool, your going to want more space.
As for the video cards, 3 cards in crossfire don't scale that well compared to two cards so you would be better off getting 2 6950s. If your lucky you could even flash the firmware and upgrade them to 6970s.

why 3x cf? scaling is always better on a single card.......wait for 6990 or 590
