"Nintendo 3DS" The initial shipment showed that it was 400,000 strong. And a line for early morning turnout at electronics stores throughout is strong and seems to be minutes of the first day sales were nearly sold out.

Impressive, I also expect the 3DS to be hard to find without a pre order here in the states.

Thank goodness I pre-ordered mine. Does anyone have any English reviews or anything of the system?

It's gotten positive comments and people say it works great the only thing they said negative is that if you move slightly you might lose the 3d effect.

I'll have to check it out in store, I'm curious (even though I'll never buy one). I used to have a VirtualBoy way back in the day. I kinda see the 3DS going down that same path, not unless Nintendo sticks with 3D in all future handhelds.

Speaking of which, I REALLY want a new Mario Clash game. Hell even a remake would suffice for me. That was was BAD ASS.

I have something against buying young tech.

I'm sure it's a fine handheld. I'll probably pick one up in 3 or so years once the gaming library matures. I still have more than enough to keep me busy with my current this gen (last gen now?) consoles, a DSi and PSP.

Then again maybe pre-ordering one would have been the smart thing to do considering how much they are going to be re-selling for on ebay if past launches for hot consoles/handhelds are anything to go by.
