I've read on another thread that the Corsair AX850 is simply a rebadged Seasonic X-850, so you could save a few bucks there if that info is accurate. either way both are top psu

Thanks for the replies (been without a comp a few days, kind of).

I'll be able to wait for the new stuff since my computer still is alive, although just barely.

So, a final post now that the rev. 3 boards and OCZ Vertex 3 disks are out, making sure my build is good.

Case: Cooler Master HAF X
PSU: Antec 850W HCP
Motherboard: ASUS P8P67 WS Revolution
CPU: 2500K
CPU cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212+ (with Artic Silver 5)
OS drive: OCZ 120GB Vertex 3 (OS + enough space for programs and a random game or two)
Data drives: 2 x Samsun Spinpoint F3 1TB in raid 1
Memory: 2 x Corsair Dominator 4GB PC3-12800 CL8 (8GB total)
Blu-Ray: Samsung internal blah blah
GFX: 2 x ASUS GTX 470

All good? Only thing I'm a bit unsure about is the PSU and the memory, but based on the (little) information I've read the PSU is very good and as far as memory goes, it's a bit meh as long as you stick to good quality brands?

I'm building a similar system with 2600K, H70 cooler, 16GB DDR3, 3x 5770 XFIRE gpus, P67 Deluxe on backorder,

checkout komputerbay ram on amazon its only $150 for 16GB and equally cheaper for smaller kits, and supposed to run fine on Sandy.

You should be fine with 850W PSU for dual sli cards. I'm getting the 1000W HVX1000 since I will be overclocking to max stable on water and running 3x 5770 gpus.
