base clock 184 fine but 185 and half ram is gone

Hey all, I have an i7 920 on the EVGA X58 SLi LE Board. I have been using the Dummy OC option which gets me to 3.2GHz.

I finally decided to try and push a bit more, and I can get up to ~3.7GHz with the base block set to 184. However at 185 only 3.99 GB is read.

Are there any settings I can check and alter to correct this? Or is it simply a limitation by my RAM? I am pretty sure I can reach higher clocks, just thinking perhaps it is my RAM thats holding me back... I am not too savy with all the voltage settings.

So if there is something I can change that will perhaps allow the rest of the RAM to be detected would be awesome. Thanks in advanced all

First do us all a favor and fill in your rig info.
To do this go to User CP (at the top) and click on add system.

You need to lower your RAM multiplier. I'm not familiar with the design of EVGA bios's, but it really depends on the rated speed of your RAM. For example, if you run your RAM stock at 133x12 for 1600Mhz, you could instead change to 200x8 and still run the same speed. Then you could set your CPU to 200x19 for 3.8Ghz.
