I take umbrage at the two posts you put up...just because they wish to do what they do...does not mean we have to stoop to their level...
Personally I love the competition..it keeps innovation high and prices for us consumers low... So lets hope AMD's 6900 series will get nvidia to drop low enough that we dont have the continual calls of "PHYSX!!!! F@H!!!" as the whole justification of paying nvidia prices...
Also hope that AMD can take their momentum to innovate more and keep nvidia honest...
I'm not quite sure what you're refering too... I just put that up incase anyone is mad xD.
How do I stoop to their level, by blatantly explaining that physx is dumb?
my apologies, 14 games, not 11. Yes all 14 games, much fun are they not?
Until devs, embrace physx as a significant part of gaming and coding, physx is still a cheap side show, does not warrant me buying an nvidia gpu simply for that.
And OP is using this for eyefinity, and as shown by just one of my benches, it would make more sense to purchase a 6970, especially for the vram. At $370 or $300, you just can't beat the performance.
That being said, for single screen 570 sli is hands down the best.
Just FYI, I'm a proud owner of gtx 460 sli 1gb, and stock voltage OCed to 1.087v 875/1750/1900 not a bad OC, especially since it beats the gtx 470 sli (stock) and 5970 performance.
