Gaming laptop? what to buy - Page 4

As bluedevil stated previously, the Asus G73 is an AWESOME laptop. My brother just picked one up and I must say that it's easily as fast as my Sig Rig He has the version with the M5870 which is equivalent to an HD5770 for the desktop platform

I have a G73. I love everything about it except the fact that my gpu can overheat sometimes but it is fixable by putting decent thermal compound on. Also some driver problems. However, the newer versions use nvidia graphics cards and I do not know if they are prone to these same problems.

yeah i did my research, apparently the mouse and keyboard Suck, there to stiff and sometimes don't work, and it overheats, the company im buying it from wants 75 more dollars for artic silver 5 paste to be put on????? must have pure silver in it and a wee bit of gold.

and yea i seen where they said they overheat, question, how hard is it to get to the videocard/cpu, on my m70s there was one big panel and i could see both hard drives, videocard, and cpu.

I need a link for this "company" you speak of. I need a G73 for $1032.
