Then he found out it was going to take almost a year to get PWM GT 2150s. Then he found out the added price for connectors ($5/fan) is literally just for the connectors (which cost less than $0.01 each). Then he found out the fans are ready to go, but without tach sensors. To add tach sensors would take ~2 months. Thus, the decision was made to have two separate buys. One for those who don't mind bare bones and thus get theirs ASAP, or roughly 3 weeks to ship to distribution, then whatever turnaround times. The ones who really wanted the tach sensors or were too lazy to do the pins themselves could get them complete, which would take 10+ weeks to distribution, plus whatever turnaround. This delay has nothing to do with this decision. It has solely to do with OCN involvement requiring a sign-off on all activity, thus being delayed due to Chipp's inability to address it.

Also, in what world is $80 a few bucks? You would have saved $30, going by current spreadsheet, while I stand to save $80. Tsumi stands to save $150. If you're going to cover my difference, I'd be happy to just get complete, and I'm sure most would. Of course, you'll also have to compensate the 7 week difference between delivery, as well. I'll let you figure out how to do that.

Your asking me for a handout? Sorry pal. No can do.
You shouldn't be blaming Chipp either. No wonder he lost interest in this.

i've heard several companies are going to be importing these now due to the interest generated here. I'm sure they will be selling for close to $20 each but I dont care, i just want the fans. Too bad someone couldnt make this happen, alot of $$$$$ could have been made.

Seems like quite a hassle for a small discount on these fans. I don't see the point.

Putting words in an administrator's mouth? Especially when it deals with 100+ people and thousands of dollars of merch? Gutsy, really...

Bump for an update. Has any progress been made toward this order? At least a weekly update would be nice.

Nothing in a while....I'm ready to cancel completely...
Ready to cancel from what? You haven't paid anyone money and nothing has been ordered. And the post is now locked and ended.

This. We HAVE NOT lost interest; there are many things going on behind the scenes besides this; as far as I can tell Chipp and Theronix have been communicating to try to move things along. You need to realize how many people posted between both threads, and that between looking over those threads and handling the other matters at hand, it can take a while. Any new updates will be posted, but until then Chipp can't post without having worked things out first with admin, Nidec Servo, and TankGuys (and they each need to communicate with each other, too, just not as regularly as you may expect).

Basically, we can't wave a magic wand and have everything ready for you all to start putting payments and information down; it takes time.
