Also search for BFBC2 sli issues in this forum, you will find that game runs like crap without an i7 if using Nvidia cards
what games were you seeing a difference in? and by how much?
do you understand what i meant by if one card runs at 99% usage and gets 45 fps that two cards should get at least 45 fps and not actually take a hit? you coming from a 9550 to an i7, i'm hoping you can provide some input...
EDIT: Nvidia has told me that this is an issue with micro stutter that they've been having with the gtx 560 ti cards in sli. they don't think that it's hardware related and they believe that a new driver update soon will fix the issue. I guess it's not my CPU not being good enough
here's a snippet of my recent conversation with them
"Thanks for waiting. My colleague escalated your case to be for a 2nd look. I researched your issue further and it appears that we are in process of investigating this micro-stuttering bug in SLI.
As soon as as we fix this, we'll integrate it into out future driver updates. On behalf my my Dev teams, my apology for the inconvenience."Edited by victorofhavoc - 3/3/11 at 8:41pm
