Should be fine. The only reason some cables have the 2 molex to 1 6pin is so you can spread the load over more than 1 cable, if you think you are stressing one of the 12v rails of your PSU.

I would highly recommend against doing this. It caused problems for me when I did.
Maybe a new PSU is in order?

4 pin molex is rated at 50W
6 pin pcie is rated at 75W

Thats why molex -> 6 pin usually have 2 molex connectors feeding it, so that the 75W load is spread out among two 50W lines.

Now, your 8 pin pcie is rated at 150W.

That means you have 150W being drawn through a wire rated at 50W. Your PSU might handle it, but the molex cable itself is a clear fire hazard. At the very least, get 2 separate molex lines feeding into the 8-pin pcie so that your 150W is being handled by 2x 50W molex lines.

You have a Corsair HX620. Why aren't you using the 6 and 8pin cables that come straight off the PSU?
