How can i connect JTAG to my mobo?

Thread Starter
Simple question that hard to answer.
Recently i bricked a wireless router and my only chance to get it live is JTAG.
I have a ribbon cable/RS232 cable and i know where the JTAG connectors on the router.

Does somebody know how can i connect the router to my PC and revive it using JTAG? Thx
