Upgrading to AP-15s worth it?

Hey all, I have an XSPC Rasa kit with the RS240, and I was wondering if it would be worth it to upgrade the stock fans to Gentle Typhoon AP-15s. I know they will be quieter, but will I see much of a difference in temps?

They have a good static pressure, so you should see a temperature drop, most likely 1-2C tops.

That's better than nothing
Static pressure is good because I also have dust filters in front of the fans

They're one of the best fans out there for watercooling! I'd say go for it!

I would say AP-15 would not give you maximum fan capacity with a 1500 RPM speed. I would go for something 1800-2000RPM to gain the most cooling off a XSPC radiator.

OK, for some reason, I thought they were a lower speed. That should be fine. Most are after the 2150 version, but good luck finding them.

You wont regret buying AP-15's, they push an excellent amount of air and are whisper quiet. They are so popular among the watercooling community for a reason. You will see a temp drop, by how much depends on other factors such as your overclock, ambients etc

Aren't those loud? It also depends on the radiator. Some will not cool any better after about 2200 RPM.
