i'm not saying it's cheap shat but if you look at it. non braided cable, just over all kit looks cheap, do you get my flow? just the tube and stuff.

if you were to build a show rig, and had choice of h60 and kuhler, which one would you use? I'd choose H60

I'm not sure what you mean by "non-braided cable" - neither the H60 or kuhler have cable sleeving, while the pump power cable is actually twisted (almost like "braiding") on the Kuhler and straight on the H60. See this pic for a side-by-side comparison. Or are you talking about the corrugated tubing on the H60? That's a bit ironic, considering it creates internal turbulence in the tubes which is actually worse for performance. I guess though, I might agree with you that purely on aesthetics the H60 is a little cleaner looking.

Anyway, I just found this swedish review of the Kuhler compared to the H60; their tests show the H60 and Kuhler pretty much equal with stock fans, both a few degrees behind the H70. With Scythe GTs in push-pull though the Kuhler pulls ahead of the H60, and only a degree behind the H70.

So in terms of pure performance, with stocks fans: H70 > Kuhler = H60; with fans in push-pull: H70 > Kuhler > H60.

One thing the H60 has going for it is Corsair Link, though strangely there's no mention of it on the H60 product page so I wonder if it made it in to the production model.

Corsair has better build quality, but Antec usually has just as good as performance with less price

And there is nothing wrong with Antec's build quality, either.

If I had to pick one or the other, I'd still pick the corsair one since this would be their 3rd release and Antec's first.

Either wait for official reviews (user and articles) or get the H60

Herpdy derp? Man, you guys need to learn to read. Antec Kuhler, Corsair H50 and H70 are ALL MANUFACTURED BY ASETEK. The H60 is manufactured by CoolIT. Antec and Corsair don't build these things. Got it?

when you look at any of corsair H series and compare to kuhler, which one looks more attractive? just look at it as aesthetic point of view

all corsair H50 fan comes braided H70 fan has those flat cables that are not twisted like kuhler, in my opinion it looks more stealthy and neat and hose used on corsair + the block( yes I know the same company made it) just what corsair did aesthetically makes it look more attractive.

does that make sense?

edit: here

IGNORE the function or performance we are all aware they come from same company

which one do you find more attractive?(ignore the radiator size)

do i need to define the word "aesthetic"

Photographic technique and image compression settings can make a lot of difference in how attractive something is perceived. How about we remove that variable?

I've also edited out the labels. Is one obviously more aesthetically pleasing than the other? The difference is slight, I would argue, and even less if it were a picture of the H70 and the Kuhler, since they share the same block.

I would give the edge to the Corsairs, in terms of aesthetics, but only just. There's nothing really to justify comments of the Antec "looking cheap" in comparison, though.

true, but I'd still take corsair over kuhler, and high end air cooling over closed loop and my current custom wc setup over all those

In mekaws post the pic is of an h70. Notice the radiator size. Your comparing the h60 and antec. They are visually almost the same looking. The h60 has a slightly larger rad and I like the pump/block mount design better. But that's just me. Performance wise I would like to see a real world comparison.

The Antec is as visually similar to the H70 as it is to the H60. It shares a block/pump with one and a rad with the other. Moreover, is the H70's thicker rad more aesthetically pleasing than the H60/Kuhler's? I don't see your point here.

I don't know about the slightly larger rad - from here it looks like the Antec rad (on the right) might be slightly thicker, but that might just be the angle and it doesn't say much about the core thickness in any case. It may have a slightly deeper plenum. The rads are both 120mm by ~25mm thick though, so whatever slight variance in size is moot. What matters is the performance, which as the comparison below shows, puts them on even footing with stock fans and favors the Antec to the H60 with push-pull fans. The H70 beats both though.

I already linked to a real world comparison.
