the best gaming mouse????? - Page 3

I have medium sized hands, and the G9x made my hand cramp. I use the g500 and love it. So thats what I would reccomend. Very comfortable and solid build.

here's basically what you want from your mouse:

low lift-off distance ~2mm or lower.
high perfect control speed
high malfuction speed
no acceleration
and if you're me
low weight.

you may or may not want mouse correction/prediction/angle snapping. as far as I can tell, it can be an advantage just as much as it can be a disadvantage. For example, I play crysis wars which involves heavy strafing, and thus having to shoot people who are strafing. I'm pretty sure mouse correction would help you to keep your aim right up where the player weak points are.

there's a sticky with a bunch of mice and their stats.

i love my g9. onboard profiles / memory make it so much better. i have 3 different machines. and never have to install the software for it since my config is stored locally

i have a deathadder 3600dpi, love it, it is comfortable, quick, responsive, and the driver customizability is amazing.

i also have a microsoft comfort optical 3000, it is ok, but you can tell it is cheap. i don't like how the laser seems to cushion my movements compared to the razer which is quick and snappy

i also have a weighted logitech g5, which is nice, but a bit awkward to hold until you get used to it.

i wish you the best of luck
