Since I'm new here,I'd like to say Hello to everyone first:wave2:

Recently bought this Motherboard:ASRock K10N78D

Everything runs but my pc became very slow,I get ~ 4700"should be around 12k or so" points in 3dmark06 and can't run games.

Config:

ASRock K10N78D
A64 x2 6400+ Black Edition
Msi Geforce 450 GTS
X2 1Gb Geil Black Dragon 800 Mhz
X1 2Gb Geil Value 800 Mhz
500W Chieftec Psu

64 bit Win 7 Enterpise

Tried it with a diff graphics card, same ressults.Changed the mulipliers, etc. And it still doesn't work..
I'm pretty much out of ideas,I hope someone knows whats wrong.

Made a few picture of my current bios settings +cpuz/gpuz.

Clickable Thumbs.
Atm the memory clock runs on Auto.

Forget to install motherboard/chipset drivers?
I'd be blaming software at this point, even a socket 939 opteron 165 with a 3870 could break 10k.

I'm going to say temperature throttling.

Hey I got this same motherboard and same problem, could you or someone explain what that means? = what I have to do to make it work.

Processor TDP is 125W
The processor itself is probably getting hot
The 4+1 VRMs are also probably getting hot, radiating the heat towards CPU socket area

Ok it works now, thanks alot smile.gif. For those who might experience this issue, BIOS -> disable cpu thermal throttle.
