A hardcore gamer who loves NES games is just as much as a hardcore gamer who plays Crysis and stuff on the PC imo. The fact that gamers can't just get alone with gamers just because of their platform of preference is plain sad. Gaming is a universal thing - there shouldn't be any reason why there is so much immaturity and hate towards one another.

Aside from something like OnLive that is - thats an abomination.

BUT - your response is totally immature and over the top. Deserve to die? Calm down now.
Not to mention, your argument about Kinect is worthless. Just because the product sold a massive ton of units doesn't mean jack. Most of those units were sold for PC people who wanted to hack it. No one actually uses it for gaming lolol Just because it sells more and is more popular has NEVER made something better than another object - in your case the Move.

i use it for gaming -_-

Who uses it for gaming besides people playing Kinectimals which is majority consistent of little children? Um... last I checked almost virtually NO ONE.
No one plays or played the stupid car racing game and the Kinect Adventures for all too long either.
That's about it for Kinect really.

and for what "gaming" do you speak of? There are no games out for it to begin with.

I for one would love to own a Kinect for gaming. I own a Wii, and like it, but I want to see what the Kinect is like. I want to see/feel what gaming without a controller is like.
Cant do much with gaming with it that's for sure. On the PC, different story it has infinite uses.

actually, cars is a really good analogy for gaming. overclocking nice parts is basically muscle cars, and extreme helium OCing is like drag racing.

Exactly. It makes no difference at all. Gaming is gaming regardless of platform. To sit here and cry/moan/insult the other party is just a big waste of time in my eyes. What difference does it make if he or she isn't spending couple thousands of dollars on computer hardware to play video games? He or she is still playing video games no matter how you twist/turn it unless we're talking either OnLive or crappy ass games

I am so sick of your anti console retarded rants. All you do is troll on how SOMETHING sucks, whether it is Black Ops, Consoles, or Microsoft, it has to make something seem like a piece of crap. Please just leave if you have nothing productive to say....

Thank you.

OCN is full of elitists who need to step off their PC pedestal. A hardcore gamer is simply someone who takes gaming a bit more seriously, and plays games more often. It doesn't matter if it is a PC or a console, and there's no reason somebody cannot love both.

Got in 1986:
Commodore 64
Intellivision

1988:
Intel 8088

1989:
NES

1991:
SNES

1992:
486 DX4/33

And on, and on. I'd argue that you're not "hardcore" unless you enjoy games on multiple platforms.

Just because it sold however many units doesn't make it any less stupid. Just shows that there are a lot of people out there who will buy whatever is thrown at them.
