GA-X58A-UD3R problem.. bad modo!

Thread Starter
I don't understand this motherboard, its making some stupid noise (boot, idle in windows... and way worse when I load a game) people told me to turn off C1E and all the other garbage (cant remember the names) its still there, this must be the worst motherboard I have ever used. This noise is...

I tried overclocking to 4.2 (1.31v or so) to see if that would fix it.. NO!

What the **** is this?

do you have another PSU?

Where is the noise coming from? have you updated the BIOS?

BTW your post makes little ******* sense, "its doing some stupid noise" does that means its making noise?

What CPU fan?

I think its the little black cubes next to the CPU socket (under the heatsiink where it says *Ultra Durable* or whatever it is ;o

It's so annoying damn it, first few hours it wasnt there... then it came from nowhere! when I run Prime95 (stress testing) it doesnt change or whatever, stays the same.. but when I open a game (SC2 or BC2) it gets crazy (its not the GPU) since ive been using it forever and I know it works... plus I changed motherboard and this is a known issue... even Gigabyte confirmed it yet its still there/

I am using the drivers / bios from the CD, haven't downloaded the newest one - it must be something else or this board just sucks by default... guess some people are lucky.

just /sigh

I have the same board and same revision and I do not experience these issues. If I am not screwing something up here, the ultra durable block you were talking about is the Mosfet cooler. Those blocks(dont quote me on that, simply guessing)might be capacitors.
Alot of people are experiencing the same issues but havent found a solution to it.

Most of them are I think, only touched vcore - rest is on auto.

Does it make it go crazy when on auto?
