Tell me how well your phones run a tablet OS, seriously what is your problem, you act like I insulted your mother. Show me the Galaxy tab for $249 where it's no commitment out of contract.

I was pointing out that the nook isn't the only thing with honeycomb on it, you were toting it as a feature when it clearly isn't exclusive.

Thats why I said wait a few months, all the new tablets are coming out and it has to drop in price(I'm not sure how much but I expect a fair bit).

Never said it was exclusive, also never toted it as a feature, TS said for $200 to $300, I stated Nook as it's in that price range, and it can also run Honey Comb, again where is a Samsung Galaxy tab with no contract for the same price?

Stuff doesn't stay the same price forever. I could get one here in australia for $500 right now, in the US it'd be slightly cheaper and in a month or two it could potentially drop a few hundred dollars. Whats the problem?

Theres no problem at all, if the TS does not want to wait he might as well go with the Nook as the Samsung Tab is IMO not substantially better, Nook is also very moder friendly and very hard to brick, as it can boot from the SD card.

The screen by the looks of it is substantially better though. AMOLED's are the best you can get at this time. And who said the galaxy isn't modder friendly and hard to brick? Its got very similar hardware to the nexus S so it'll get lots of support into the future and if its anything like the galaxy S its pretty hard to brick as well.

Now, lets let the OP decide

The current Galaxy Tab isn't using an AMOLED screen though... The next generation one is, but not the current gen 7" one. I think the screen in the Galaxy Tab is the same as the one used in the Nook color, although I don't have any source for that. I'm simply going off of the fact that they're both 7" ips's with 1024x600 resolution...

I thought they used the same screen in the tab as the S, maybe they switched it and used SLCD though(They did that with the desire, luckily I got a AMOLED version).
