you have a good psu so depending what your upgrading from i dont think you will even notice a difference unless you doing some serious 3D apps or 24/7 folding


EDIT: And if you have the money to afford a 580 i don't think you need to worry about a few extra dollars for the electric bill.

Its like complaining about how much gas costs you in your Ferrari......

should not make much if a different if you only play games a few hours a day. but if you fold like 24/7 then it should raise it by a few cents?

Assuming you live in an average US state it will cost about 10c per KWh at about 250W you would be looking at something like 2.5c an hour or about 60c a day if you are running it at full throttle all the time.

So all up in a month you would be looking at about $18, but if you use your computer normally and maybe game a couple hours a day, you wouldn't be looking at more than a couple dollars a month.
