Core Leveling?

Hey folks I just got a quick question. I know setting core leveling to manual allows you to enable/disable cores. But what happens when you set it on auto? Does it disable cores when their not in use and enable them when you need them?

I don't believe that it does anything on Auto. You would have to ask Biostar but it definitely is not turning cores on and off.
