Since I got allot of storage, why not rip my BD movies ?

What's the best way without any quality loss?

AnyDVD HD for decryption of the BR disk.
Then use something like HandBrake for conversion.

what mbudden said. AnyDVD HD is awesome for removing protection and doing the first step into ripping. after that theres a bunch of programs to reduce size but handbrake is the best imo.

also note. anydvd isn't free. so might wanna take that into consideration.

You can use DVDFab HD and copy the disc to the drive and use vlc media player to watch it just like a dvd with no loss in quality.

But AnyDVD HD is worth the $$.

.... Unless you have a MASSIVE amount of HDD space... I would reduce the size. You have to realize that BR images/ISO's are HUGE.

Yes, but unless you plan on storing 40 GB images, I would compress them. I condense all my movies with AnyDVD and Handbrake to 8 GB .mkvs.

Another good one is DvdFab, also not free but lifetime updates and they stay on top of that.
